Man, it’s pretty bad when you don’t like your own movie. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve shot some stuff and you do get sick of seeing it when you are editing it, then mixing sound, then doing ADR then…. but man, at the premiere you have to stick around, Ben. No exceptions. He tells Gatecrasher:
“I just get nervous and think that every chair creak or cough, people hate it,” Affleck said of his directorial debut. “And when someone says they thought the movie was good, [I think], you’re lying to me!”
Well at least you know they are lying to you; welcome to Hollywood. I am no fan of Ben and his movie just looks OK. I for one won’t be rushing to theaters to check it out.
