Remember, I am on vacation from my ‘day job’ til January 2nd so until then, posts will be a bit lighter, but then again, so is just about everyone so I doubt it’ll put too huge a dent in your days.

There are shitty film openings (hello Nicole Kidman the last 7 years) and then there are Dennis Rodman in Simon Sez like bombs. Jessica Simpson’s Blonde Ambition falls in that rarefied Rodman territory as it was screen in Texas on a limited basis and according to THIS report, raked in a whopping $384.
That isn’t even enough to pay the support staff at each theater where the estimates are an audience of 6 people per screening. Again, I am betting the crew that normally sweeps up the shit every asshole and his mother dumps on the floor was larger.
Phenomenal. She better hope her next album doesn’t bomb or else she is on the express train to irrelevancy-ville.
Oh and on a side note, more people commented on how hilarious the downfall of her film was in the Slashfilm thread I posted up there than actually saw the film. Gold.

I don’t know what it is about sex addiction that is wrong, but if girls that look like Lindsay Lohan are walking around with insatiable lusts for man meat, I don’t wanna be right. NOTW reports:

“As the bath overflowed she was totally unconscious and it was only because her assistant ran in and saved her that she didn’t drown. Lindsay said that was a terrifying wake-up call and showed her just how close she was to losing her life through drugs.”
Uhhh..of course this had to have been BEFORE she was arrested twice on DUI charges and had cocaine on her person at the last arrest. So I kinda doubt it was as huge a wake up call as she would like you to believe.
