Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland has run afoul of the law once again. He was busted on DUI earlier this month authorities revealed. People Magazine reports:
Weiland, 40, who has long battled substance abuse, was arrested after crashing his car and failing sobriety tests on Nov. 11 in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, the California Highway Patrol said in a statement. No one was injured in the accident.
The musician was booked at the Van Nuys jail and refused to take a blood or urine test, according to the CHP. He posted $40,000 bail and is due in court on Dec. 13.
Shocking. I’m sure he’ll do half a day of community service and be paid $10,000 for his troubles. Seriously, California’s penal system is a fucking joke. You may as well drive home drunk since you won’t get in trouble anyway; unless you kill someone.
He’s a soon to be 3 time loser and hasn’t ever had to do shit to pay. Why should that change now?
