God damn please make this happen. Rumors have been swirling that the cast, crew and creators have been dicussing a reunion on the big screen of the criminally canceled Arrested Development. Reelz Cinema reports:
…called in with the exciting news that the prospect of an AD movie is still very much a possibility. Bateman relayed the encouraging news to after a weekend meeting with series creator Mitch Hurwitz.
The latest statement comes on the heels of our August 24th report, in which Bateman remarked that a big-screen Bluth reunion “is certainly on the table.”
Michael Cera, Bateman’s fellow Arrested Development castmember and the co-star of Juno, indicated that he’d be game for an AD movie as well.
Make this happen. The show needs the send off it deserves. Don’t bullshit around on this. Get that script done. (just don’t let the WGA know you are working on it or you’re in trouble) Let’s go. C’mon! The only people who didn’t like this show are all asshole douche bags who don’t go out to the movies anyway so fuck them.
