So Paris Hilton did release and album and it sucked but not like ‘key to destroying the world’ sucked. However, that was largely due to heavy FX piled on and a few ‘stunf’ voices brought in to hit the notes Ms. Hilton simply couldn’t hit credibly…which was most of them.
Then there is this video of her doing Karaoke. I won’t even tell you what song it is since you probably won’t be able to guess anyway. She sounds like someone raping a cat with a barbed wire covered baseball bat. Anyone who is a real singer can step up anytime, anywhere, and knock out a decent performance at worst. This is simply proof that she isn’t a singer.
It was a good run, music. I loved the Baroque period. The Romantic era and the expansion of the orchestral pallet by Wagner were a revelation and set the tone for the impending rock n’ roll revolution some 80 years later, but Paris Hilton has managed to kill you off.
I don’t know what I’ll listed to now. Maybe whale songs or something. I do know that I want nothing to do with music created by man if this is what we are going to get.
