This was too funny to ignore.
An Italian TV host, Paolo Calabresi, decided to play a gag on possibly the biggest sports (soccer/football is the biggest part of the club) club on earth, Real Madrid, and pose as Nicolas Cage for a Champions League match against AS Roma in Madrid this past weekend. Sports Illustrated reports:
“The truth is I was a little scared they would find me out, but from the first moment everyone was friendly with me,” Calabresi told Marca newspaper on Wednesday. “We knew there would be many repercussions. My phone won’t stop ringing.”
Videos posted on Spanish media Web sites showed Calabresi, whose English has an accent, being presented with a personalized Nicolas Cage team jersey from Calderon.
Calabresi also met and posed for photographs with Madrid forward Robinho.

) How do you not question the guy when you hear an American talking with an Italian accent?
If you’re Robinho you have to feel kinda pissed that you think you are getting pix with a big Hollywood star and not some jag off on Italian TV.
Seriously, this guy looks about as close to Nicolas Cage as I look to Brad Pitt.
