In keeping with my ‘all things Buffy‘ policy, I am pleased to report that former start of Buffy (from seasons 5-7) Michelle Trachtenberg, will be guest starring on the CW’s Gossip Girl. The Insider reoprts:
Former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG will be joining The CW hit “Gossip Girl” for several episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
On the show, Michelle will play a rival to “Gossip” star BLAKE LIVELY. Her character, fresh out of rehab, will be “shaking up and torturing” Blake’s character, per the trade paper.
This is supposedly the role that Mischa Barton was supposed to do before her and/or her people royally fucked it up.
Now it won’t surpass her majestic turn as Dawn on Buffy but it’s good to see her back on the tube.
