Fuck the fucking Emmys!

They are the most worthless award alive. I work in the TV/Film industry and I can tell you that as corrupt as the film industry is, the TV business is twice as corrupt.

If you knew the sheer number of times an actor we rep got a job on a TV as a favor or because ‘it’s just their turn’ you’d vomit. (both cases are violations of labor laws BTW…just sayin’)

They are voted on by dipshits and they are divvyed up based soley on who has kissed the most ass and worse yet; “who’s turn is it?”

So yeah, I am protesting posting any shit from the Emmys.

Plus I felt I needed to post something since I have MORE tests this week so things will be light folks.

So it would be nice if people would stop asking me about them. I don’t wanna talk about them. I want them to go away.

Here she is trashing the writers on her show from a report on MSNBC:

I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention,” she told the Los Angeles Times’ Gold Derby.”

Oh well how noble of you, cunt. I’m sure the writers are thrilled that you don’t feel that they gave you enough to work with and finding out about it in public.

Seriously, you are basically just gross. Everything about you sucks. There was a time when basically every guy wanted to nail you but now every time you are filmed you look like a hobo smoking yet again.

You aren’t a great actress; fuck you aren’t even ‘very good’ at acting if we are going to be honest. You are in the ‘serviceable skills but with big tits’ category that Jessica Alba and her ilk fall into.

Get over yourself. You aren’t Audry Hepburn and won’t ever be. You are on TV because you have a nice set of jugs and will be shuffled back into the trash heap once you get a little older and aren’t as ‘fresh’ as you used to be.

Note to Megan: time for you and Audrina to do a Skinemax lesbians in prison film. Caged Heat 19, or whatever fucking number they are up to. That would = bank. It would also be the first made for Cinemax film to be released in theaters.

The shock news of the day is the Sean Penn lead jury, lauded a film about a fear mongering communist terrorist, Che Guevara and gave the best actor award to Benicio del Toro for the turn as Che in Steven Soderbergh’s 4 FUCKING hour long biopic about Che Guevara cleverly titled Che Guevara.

Benicio had this to say to E!

“I’d like to dedicate this to the man himself, Che Guevara, as well as to Soderbergh, who got up every day, forced me to this,” Del Toro said during the ceremony. “He was there pushing it, and he pushed all of us.”

Wonderful. 4 fucking hours though, Steve? Your last 10 or so movies have eaten monkey cock. In what world do you think you have what it takes to pull off a 4 hour marathon picture?

I’ve also read, and heard from people who’ve seen it that it’s basically a 4 hour love letter that glosses over the man’s considerable short comings and kinda skips the part about his involvement in bringing Cuba from a poor nation to a piss poor nation.

Basically, the film is the version of the man that the millions of Euro trash types know from the T-shirts they snapped up en masse 10 years ago or so ‘just cuz’; don’t laugh, I had at least 10 friends from there who did that very same thing. Most tossed ‘em out once they read a bit more.

But really, what’s not to like about a guy who is responsible for the summary executions of thousands who found themselves no longer willing to die for his ‘revolutionary’ cause. Of course, I like that he is responsible for opening the door to Russia to plant nukes in Cuba to aim at the US and every other nation in the Americas that wasn’t communist. I guess I’m overreacting.

OK I’ll end the rant now since that shit is boring. Bring on the boobies!

There have been a number of reports on it that I won’t bother linking to because they mostly offer facile excuses for the omission. However, reports were swirling that because of his troubles with heroine abuse and his drug overdose death he was cut…and yet drug overdose death Heath Ledger remained in.

I don’t know if we will ever know the real reason is but the company line of ‘well we can’t include everyone and can’t do nothing but actors’ line of bullshit is, well, bullshit. Actors are the most recognizable part of the movie business and should be primarily featured on that part of the show. It’s not like Renfro did no movies. He was in Oscar nominated fair (the criminally neglected Ghost World that should be compulsory viewing for anyone who claims to enjoy films) and just completed several other films before his demise so it’s not like we are talking Corey Feldman here.

So shame on you Oscar for not paying tribute to a young man who gave his all to the craft and by the accounts of most, was ripped apart by this town and this industry in particular. OK, I knew she was pregnant, but it seems like it was a month ago that she announced she was preggers. She is pretty big right now. There have been rumors swirling that she is having twins but she has denied those as of now.

I know it’s totally selfish and irrelevant, but I’m just happy her face isn’t getting fat. She can’t act worth a shit but I sure do like looking at her. It would be a shame if that was ruined with the whole ‘giving birth to a little miracle’ thing.

Yes, I am a pig. I admit it and will probably do nothing to fix it, but at least I admit it.

I had some issues with stomach acid flowing into my lungs which is just as much fun as it sounds. It's quite exquisite really. The Oscars were a relatively painless if unspectacular affair. The winner was kind of a foregone conclusion. The Coen brothers are good soldiers and work the town well. Paul Thomas Anderson does not. That is basically what it comes down to. There is really only one place to go for shots of the red carpet and videos and the like and that is the OSCARS site. They really did load it up. If you want pee pee lines drawn on those same photos you know where you can go. (other than hell) I like inclusion of the 'Thank You Cam" so the winners don't feel as put upon when they are played off stage. I was at some parties I'll include a few shots of that and a shot of the paparazzi swell outside of Chateau Marmont. You'll notice a lack of image focus as the night goes on as that tends to happen when a blurry eyed drunk is trying to make something look focused. I do post this with one warning though:  avoid looking at her armpits when you blow up the picture.

I looked and in some you can see either some major sweat action going on, or she uses gel deodorant and pasted the fuck outta her pits before hitting the carpet. Either way, not all that hot.

Though the thought of her hot and sweaty doing something else (with me) isn’t so bad.

I’m conflicted.

I couldn’t care any less about the SAG awards. They are a quarter notch above the People’s Choice awards in my awards watching heirarchy that essentially includes the Oscars and the occasional MTV movie/music awards.

The only reason anyone pays half an ounce of attention to this shit is because most of the Academy (ya, know, the one that votes on the Oscars) is made up of actors. So their votes usually determine who wins.

Sadly, the SAG awards only have 2 categories that are in line with the Oscars. Thus, their irrelevance.
