Mischa Barton appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s show yesterday and had this to say about her DUI arrest over the holiday:
“I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case and I’m really disappointed in myself,” she told Ryan. “I don’t know what to say about it except that I’m not perfect and I don’t ever intend to do anything this stupid again.”
Mischa tells Ryan what went down that night. “I was out with some friends, and I hadn’t been driving [earlier] in the night but I wanted to get my car home, so I decided to drive home,” she said. “I can’t really get into specifics because we have the case coming up and I’m not supposed to say anything about what happened. But yeah, I was pulled over.“
Uhhh…note the parts in bold.
Mischa, you may as well get into all the specifics on earth because you just fucked yourself. I’m fairly certain you planned on pleading ‘guilty’ anyway, but if not, do you really think the DA isn’t going to immediately pull out this interview and play “I am 100% responsible for my actions in this case” and say “so…what do you have to say about that?”

KTLA is reporting that Britney Spears refused to let K-Fed take the kids back to him this evening and is currently having a little showdown with the police; that usually ends well.

Sorry for not posting this sooner, but Mischa Barton was arrested for DUI on 12/27 and blew a .12 and had marijuana in her system and had numerous prescription pills in an unmarked bottle; sounds like quite the party.
It’s honestly about the least shocking DUI ever if you’ve seen the litany of pictures of her smoking up in her car and the pix of her drinking all the time.
The new wrinkle is this LAME video that is obviously set up by her agents and publicists to make her look like an angelic little girl who made one mistake.

Nail her to the wall. DUI is such and easily avoidable offense, especially for the wealthy, it isn’t even funny. Spring for a fucking cab, bitch. Sure they are a little more expensive in LA but isn’t it worth it for the lack of aggravation and criminal record? Which is to say nothing of the whole ‘reducing the risk of killing someone senselessly’ by not getting behind the wheel drunk.

Vivaca A. Fox turned herself in for booking in Van Nuys related to a DUI charge. No court date has been set yet. When she is sentenced will she be a 30 minute special or a Sutherland 50 day special?
Kiefer Sutherland checked into a Glendale city jail to serve out his 48 day sentence. Officials say that he will be on kitchen and laundry duty during his stay. He checked into this jail rather than county because he was given no guarantees for his safety at county jail due to low resources. The Insider reports:
The Glendale Police spokesperson reported to “The Insider”: “Kiefer Sutherland will serve all 48 days of his sentence. He will be in a cell by himself. It is not because he is someone special, but because anyone sentenced to a long period of time is in a cell by themselves. Kiefer will be assigned to laundry detail and kitchen detail. He will be working while he is here. He was very humble, accepts full responsibility and is committed to doing 48 days.”
And sources tell “The Insider” that Kiefer does not intend to purchase special food or living accommodations available to those with the means. “We do have a pay-to-stay,” a representative from the jail confirmed, “however, he did not request [the program]. He wanted to be treated like any other inmate sentenced to do his time.”
OK, I don’t feel the least bit sorry for Kiefer because this was his second offense. However, one has to wonder how the hell he gets 48 days but Lohan gets 84 minutes and Nicole Richie basically stopped in long enough for a picture and a nice hearty shit before strolling out.
I wonder if their lawyers or the lawyers of Paris ’10 days of a 45 day sentence’ Hilton will issue another statement about how inequitably their clients were treated. PLEASE I wanna hear them complain now.
Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland has run afoul of the law once again. He was busted on DUI earlier this month authorities revealed. People Magazine reports:
Weiland, 40, who has long battled substance abuse, was arrested after crashing his car and failing sobriety tests on Nov. 11 in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, the California Highway Patrol said in a statement. No one was injured in the accident.
The musician was booked at the Van Nuys jail and refused to take a blood or urine test, according to the CHP. He posted $40,000 bail and is due in court on Dec. 13.
Shocking. I’m sure he’ll do half a day of community service and be paid $10,000 for his troubles. Seriously, California’s penal system is a fucking joke. You may as well drive home drunk since you won’t get in trouble anyway; unless you kill someone.

Johnathan Rhys Meyers, star of The Tudors and some other small ‘indie’ films that you may or may not have seen, was arrested in Ireland over the weekend. The AP reports:
Rhys Meyers, 30, was arrested Sunday after police twice confronted him over his erratic, abusive behavior at an airport gate and at a desk of the British airline BMI, on which he was planning to fly to London.
Dublin Airport Police said they called Ireland’s national police force, the Garda Siochana, after Rhys Meyers refused repeated requests to calm down.
Police charged him with two counts of violating the Public Order Act, then permitted him to pay an undisclosed cash bail on condition he return to Dublin District Court on Dec. 5 for his arraignment.

84 minutes. She did precisely 84 minutes in jail in addition to the few hours she was held when arrested and the couple of days of community service ‘having fun’ while doing it. Sounds real ‘fair’ to me. Read the list over again and remind yourself that this all happened over the course of 2-3 months.
