Beyond that, it would kinda scare me if someone was taking advice from me (or any blog, paper etc columnist) about who they should vote for rather than examination of the facts and platforms presented by each candidate.

I’m referring to the phenomenon of reporting on who a celebrity is supporting for office. What’s the point? Who gives a shit?

If it’s to show people how ‘cool’ someone is, mission failed. Have you heard some of these dunces? If Jessica Simpson comes out and says “I support Hilary!” is that going to make you more likely to support Clinton? If I found myself thinking in a manner similar to Jessica Simpson I’d think it was time to do a 180 in my thinking and/or blow my fucking face off after prepping the area with a chainsaw facial.

I’m just saying, people like actors and musicians who are paid millions to literally work and live in a fantasy world; probably not the best judges of what’s best for the county/state/country. So if you are basing your political decisions on how they plan to vote in anyway, please feel free to give yourself the aforementioned chainsaw facial followed by a hearty dose of buckshot for breakfast.

Here is a quick, telling, quote of how well this strategy is already going from The Daily Mail UK:

It’s not a bad idea to have diversified holdings in various currencies, however, do they think they are going to earn the same number of Euros that they are dollars? If someone is offering $2 million, you aren’t going to get 2 million Euro. Also, most of her money comes from US companies, they cut her off, she is making considerably less money.

The best part is the Euro central bank is practically guaranteed to drop their rate devaluing their currency because their trade is being absolutely killed by the US right now due to our largely intentional devaluing of the dollar. So will she be switching to dollars after that happens? Will it happen when Belgium (the capital of the EU), FINALLY, has their internal strife come to a head and splits; possibly violently? Yeah, it really is on the verge of happening. Or will she think of switching if the majority of the German public has their way and switches back to Marks? Oh yeah, I guess now would be a good time to mention that Germany’s economy is monumentally larger than any other nation in Europe and their pullout from the Euro would have devastating consequences. The Euro isn’t as safe as you think it is, Gisele.

Also, Patty, as you may have heard, every foreign country has large investments in US currency and/or US companies. If the dollar completely collapses there isn’t going to be many currencies that are going to live through the bloodshed.

Last I checked she lives primarily in the US. Which, as you may know, requires a conversion fee which basically wipes out a huge chunk of the difference you are making on taking Euro over dollars.

Chris Moore of Project Greenlight fame and JJ Abrams of Lost and Alias fame are two of the Hollywood heavy hitters and Laura Nichols, a former Dick Gephardt aide who is part of a political organization Center For American Progress is the agenda master.
