Guess everyone else is in vacation mode too. I have one or 2 to post but that’s about it. Might not be any action tomorrow since Sundays are dead by default. We’ll see. I’m sure Monday will be back to normal again.

Reuters is reporting that world famous opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti has been admitted into the hospital in his hometown in Modena, Italy.
Last year, he was diagnosed with cancer and had to cancel his farewell tour to undergoe operations to try to eliminate the tumor in his pancreas.
Reports out of Italy indicate that he has fallen ill with pneumonia. Though spokespeople for the hospital or the great tenor have confirmed that. They say a press conference will be scheduled soon to update his fans on his condition.
I dunno, I love opera. It’s a shame to see a great one passing into the night. This has been a bad year to be an opera legend as Beverly Sills died last month as well.
If you are a fan of Luciano, send out the positive vibes his way as it sounds like he needs em.

As many of you have no doubt heard, Tom Cruise was planning to throw a bash on Sunday for his buddies David and Victoria Beckham as a "welcome to America" kind of thing.
Well the bash was positively MASSIVE. They closed off a large section of downtown LA* and police were being very strict about who let allowed in and out of the area.
No reporters were allowed in the event and the red carpet was only covered a bit. His new teammates Abel Xavier and Cobi Jones were there in addition to Eva Longoria and the aforementioned Will and Jada (Pinkett) Smith and TomKat. The rest of the guest list is still a bit of a mystery, though one has to imagine the celebs who showed up at the game on Saturday such as Jennifer Love Hewitt and Arnold Schwarzenegger popped in for a visit. (c’mon, the party just ended about 2 hours ago, I get up and do this earlier than most people-so the guest list won’t be available just yet. 
)
However, the local Fox TV affiliate sneaked a peek into the main ballroom and it was a positively LAVISH affair with massive, grand crystal chandeliers, bouquets of red roses and other lavish accoutrement’s. No doubt the booze was flowing liberally and has to be one of the biggest non-Oscar parties of the year in LA.
Suffice to say, if you are a celebrity and you weren’t on the 600 person guest list for this party, you are a loser and can’t call yourself a celebrity anymore…until you release a fuck tape of you and an ex that is.

Oh, yeah, the Galaxy lost to Chelsea 1-0 on Beck’s debut. He only played 13 or so minutes. Thus, my lack of a dedicated post about the match. Well, that and this isn’t the David Beckham news network.

TMZ is reporting that they have talked with police officials who have confirmed that Lindsay Lohan was more than twice the legal limit and had cocaine in her system when she crashed her car and fled the scene about a month ago.
Oh there you are, I thought you weren’t going to wake up after you fainted from learning that shocking news. Don’t worry, I won’t reveal the reports that the sky is, in fact blue; I’m not sure if your heart could handle that.
I will be taking bets on how much time she will do*. My guess is less than 10 days. This could be fun. What do you think?
