You may remember this dummy, (video below), well she offers her explanation to People about her bungled answer:
“I didn’t do anything wrong,”
Other than butcher the English language and set us “US Americans” back 500 years in terms of reading and verbal comprehension? No, then I guess you did nothing wrong. Oh and embarrass your family name, take that off the list too.
“I wasn’t expecting [the question]. I lost my train of thought.”
That’s kind of the point of the questions, baby doll. They want to see if you can think on your feet and put a thought together: Mission Failed.
Host Mario Lopez offered this tidbit:
“It was a very intense moment. It’s live TV. You don’t know what the question is until you get up there. And I believe that she misunderstood it. She went down the wrong road and couldn’t figure out how to get back to the right one,” he says. “I felt really badly for her.”
Really? You think she misunderstood when she gave the most nebulous rambling response to a question in the history of human speech? I guess maybe there is a chance she misunderstood something. Perhaps they should have asked the question in a language she understands next time.
She will be given a chance to answer the question on the Today show today and will no doubt botch that up. People also outs South Carolina schools as shams or someone there is flat out lying about her academics as they claim she had a 3.5 at graduation. Maybe on scale to 10 but certainly not out of 4 or even 5.
